Founded in 2006 by Vittorio Strigari and designer Ora-Ito, Awdio is an online music which is actually different from the other hundreds of online music sites floating around on the net. Awdio allows you to listen to LIVE music from clubs and concert venues from all around the world. Their network of over 100 clubs spanning 20 countries will bring you live music from dj sets and live performances all while you’re sitting in your pajamas eating hot pockets and changing your facebook status. So next time your friends say they want to hit a club, tell them don’t they know it’s a recession people don’t go clubbing, the Awdio in the house. Few people, a few more bottles of liquor, a few more shots and some good laptop speakers and you got the party rocking from some club out in Australia.
From the Poor designers comes another take on the USB there’s already about 100 different USB designs floating out there. Atleast this one can double as a clip, upload those mp3 tracks to your laptop while outside doing laundry and then when you’re done uploading use the clip to hang up some sheets. Nothing better than a 2 in 1 device, well gummi bears are better but you get me.

Today I don’t have any new porn sites for visit but I did happen to stumble upon a “time wasting” site that can do you and your job some justice. SoundCloud should change how we handle music which I will greatly appreciate because, we live in a internet based music world now but we haven’t yet created an easy flowing system to handle the flow of music. Or as SoundCloud says, how we “move music”, we have many upon many places to listen to music online or download but no real solution on how to transfer that music easily, mp3 downloads fucking kill me.
Another online music website (record labels should start waiving their white flags) has emerged debuting only a few weeks ago is Spotify. Spotify allows users to stream music on demand using Spotify’s specific technology. Spotify has linked Licensing deals with Sony BMG, Universal Music Group, EMI Music, Warner Music Group, The Orchard, Merlin and Bonnier Amigo. Spotify will be giving out invites over the next few months for people to join otherwise you have to signup for their premium access to get Spotify’s service, premium access is advertising free. The site also has the list of already committed artist who will be at the OFFF conference, and they update it with any new artist information as soon as it comes in. Is the mechanical sheep mowing the lawn is it not mowing the lawn, I can’t really tell. All I do know is that growing up having to mow the lawn on a weekend basis was something not worth looking forward too, so anything that can do hands-free lawn mowing I’m willing to give it a try. Or in this case some hope that the sheep is really mowing the lawn, so maybe one day I can have my own sheep mowing machine.
A new form of travel has a new form of marketing. A peer-to-peer travel website AirBed & Breakfast has created these limited edition cereal boxes to help show your support for which ever candidate you like. Have you’re Obama O’s in the morning to kick start things or if you’re feeling a little McCain-ish then grab a box of Cap’n McCain’s. And yes, the cereal is real. The peer-to-peer travel site itself is a new concept in travel staying, instead of using hotels they have setup a system where someone like yourself could put up your extra room or couch for rent on a per night rate for a would be traveler to stay at. Or vice versa you could be a would be traveler looking to save a few bucks or just have a more ‘home like’ atmosphere and stay at one of the individuals places to stay. Now I’m not big on strangers but I do like the concept, something worth exploring into, and you might get someone who knows how to make great bacon and eggs, that’s a deal sealer right there.
I think Dubai is trying to get the guinness world record for most records broken in one city. They seem to just look up all the information on whatever is the tallest or largest of anything and then goes out and builds it biggesr. So now they’ve moved onto making the world’s largest LED screen, the screen will be the facade of 33 story building being built by Tameer Holding company. The “podium” which is what the screen is called will not block light from coming into the building and its technology is coming from Dactronics a leader of simulation and synthesis systems. Just give it a few months and I’ll be posting up something new about the next biggest or tallest or largest something being built over in Dubai, the fantasy world.
I’ve never heard of this game LevelHead before but from what I can see it looks pretty cool. The basis of the game is you take these little cubes that have little computerized rooms on the screens that make up the walls of the cubes, a person appears in one of them and by tilting the cube at various angles you make that person walk, it’s your objective to find the exit out by having the person go through all 3 cubes. The game was created by Julian Oliver and the video above shows the game in action, even though I guess it’s also a spoiler of some such, don’t know what it’s spoiling exactly but you get to see the LevelHead game in live action mode. If this is a glimpse of the future of gaming, I’m liking what I see, I could spend some very good quality time playing this game instead of doing something maybe a little more productive like reading.
