The best night-light ever. This little man trying to unplug himself is playful and a designed perfectly. It’s how I feel about gummi bears, I try to pull myself away from them but I never manage too. And it’s fitting that the socket man as I call him was designed by a group who call themselves The Play Coalition.

If the bike world was put on the same scale as the internet the Strida would be the 2.0 version and your Huffy would have faded back in the crazy “bike crash” that spiraled out of control at the early parts of the new century. It was just too much bike funding going around to underperforming bikepreneurs ( bike entrepreneurs). But now we’ve fought through that era learned alot from scrapping back up to the top and now we’ve got the Strida, an easy ride and an even easier fold-up system. The strida can be folded up easily and stored away or stuffed in some large carry-on bag and taken with you somewhere. But just like web 2.0, bike 2.0 is all about making things that much easier for you in life. Watch the fold process step by step after the jump.

If you’re a furniture company and you are opening up a store or showroom then you need to take notes from Danish furniture company Fritz Hansen. They had Stefano Tagliacarne design their Milan showroom creating a space that envokes fun and buying, because the setup will have you in a gaze only thinking how you could do some more creative stuff around your own house. Chairs on the wall is something I’m looking into right now actually, it should help with floor space.

The Balloona Stool was designed by Natalie Kruch and has a pretty basic but nifty (been wanting to use that word) idea. She took 500 balloons and wrapped, twisted and tied them to a wooden stool. When finished you get Balloona Stool.

Guns aren’t exactly what you’d consider nice things, their only function is to hurt, but when you let Yvonne Lee Schultz at them it becomes a whole new story. Yvonne created a series called, Porcelain Pistols, they’re replicas of James Bonds’ PPK guns designed to make the pistols more appealing, like matching them up with tea sets. Yvonne has also made the gun something more tasteful like his chocolate gun.

Belgian Artist Arne Quinze does everything from paintings to sculptural work that would marvel even the best of the creative’s roaming the planet. Arne seems to merge so many aspects into his work, painting, design, architecture, wide array of material use, you only attach the word artist to Arne because their isn’t a word yet that describes all he does. Just looking through Arne Quinze’s website will show you just how many various projects he’s been involved in, and how he’s able to jump from this field to the next seamlessly without a hiccup. Arne clearly doesn’t live by the rules of having limits or boundaries which is why his work explores elements in multiple ways. Enough of me talking just look for yourself.
