Today officially marks the return of Throwback Thursday, it was in hiatus for a while but it’s been given new life. I bring back throwback thursday with one of my favorite childhood shows ever, and probably yours too, The Wonder Years. The video is the intro song to the show, remember that song, it brings me back to those days of acting foolish and having crushes. Ahh, those lovely first crushes, how they molded your future in so many ways. The Wonder Years, is by far in the top 5 kid series shows ever (and you can be sure the other 4 will make appearances on throwback thursday), even if all the child actors were doomed to never make it as serious adult actors as do to the curse of the child actor. But how could you not fall in love with Winnie Cooper, I mean seriously, she was probably like every little boys dream girl at the time. And what about little Kevin Arnold and his geeky best friend Paul Pfeiffer, they were as cool as cool could get, how else do you explain this being such a dope outfit. The best part about the show was the narration Kevin would do for himself, like exactly how it really is in life, you are thinking something completely different then what you’re saying or even acting like at the time. So when you get in front of your TV today, search for the re-runs of The Wonder Years and do yourself a favor and watch them all again, taking you back to those more peaceful child-care-free days. Oh, and if you’re wondering what little Kevin Arnold and Winnie Cooper are up to these days, well Fred Savage is filming a TV show, ‘Single White Millionaire’, and Danica McKellar is writing bestselling math books these days, oh yea, she still is dream girl material.
