Stephanie Metz is a sculptor but she doesn’t use metal, wood, clay or even cardboard, nope she uses wool. Metz creates sculptors of animals, humans and even selective breaded animals all made from felted organic wool. And she does all this using a handheld felting needle, no machine and only on occasions does she use a small wire to help with rigidity for the sculptors to be self-supporting.
